Jackie lives in Cornwall and has had a love of Cornwall since she first visited in 1961 at the age of 2.
Jackie suffers with ME and whilst this can be debilitating, she doesn't stop helping others through her charitable works. Jackie is very keen to show one can be creative and grow through art and poetry.
Jackie's work is aimed at everyone and it shows how she uses here art, poetry and writing to share with others but also be part of today.

My journey began as I strolled the path of church callings. My heart leaps and misses a beat as I enter my childhood churchyard at Leckhampton, where I once played for hours with angels and dracular.
The surroundings are so familiar, the mistletoe so high, even the crows take deep breaths before their flight to the white kissing berries.
The earth is icy cold, sharp yet so familiar and homely, the grey stones are warm and welcoming. The dead are alive and well with open hearts and wearing flowered Christmas crowns. I hear their mumblings, I feel their stories some ancient, some old, some new. All here we are happy to embrace the footprints of my new christmas boots and tiny cold paws mixed with warm doggy pees.
Outside of the guarding churchyard walls are the cows, who too have made their marks in frozen packs; mingling along side white tipped sharp shards and muddy puddles of icy glass.
As the evening is closing a stillness approaches enhancing a silhoute of bare black branches as they sing evensong in the cloudless scalet-red sky. It pours its regal power of burning colour over the meadow, which to my utter amazement catches the arched stained glass window with a beam of taupe enriched light with soft gold. A light bulb from God turned to highlight the ethereal mixing of time past, time present and time to come.
The totality of this pure moment where I am organically a part of a mixture of stone, glass and wrought iron that have been designed, cut, coloured and historically, as well as religiously, portrayed by miraculous hands and forethought for the future is for me a true privalege. Thank you God for this moment with you.
